IFFCO Chairman Surinder Jakhar Dead of Bullet Injury

Surinder Jakhar, chairman of fertiliser major IFFCO and son of former Lok Sabha speaker Balram Jakhar, died of bullet injuries.

Preliminary investigations showed the pistol went off accidentally and there was no foul play.

Eyewitnesses said Jakhar was killed in accidental firing by his security guard, but police are yet to verify the claim.

IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-operative Ltd.) is a state-run fertiliser major.
