Bollywood Star Vivek Oberoi got married to Priyanka Alva, who is the daughter of former Karnataka Minister Jeevraj Alva and reputed dancer Nandini Alva. 

Priyanka is a Business Management graduate from Britain and she is now 28 years old.

Media were not allowed inside as the marriage ceremony was a private matter. Few celebrities, some close relatives and friends were attended Vivek’s wedding ceremony.

The reception ceremony will be held on Sunday at Mumbai.

The former Argentine president Néstor Kirchner died on Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack, A News by Argentine State News Channel.

Kirchner, 60, died after he was rushed in grave condition to the Formenti de Calafate hospital while suffering a severe heart attack, the presidency said.

Kirchner had undergone an angioplasty after a heart attack in September, but was still a likely candidate in next year's presidential elections. 

Mr. Kirchner guided Argentina out of its crippling financial crisis in late 2001 and had continued to lead the Peronist party after his wife, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, was elected president in 2007. 

He also served as secretary general of the South American alliance known as Unasur, as a congressman and as leader of the Peronist party.

JAKARTA, Indonesia -- A strong earthquake hit late Monday off the western coast of Indonesia's Sumatra island, but no damage or casualties were immediately reported.

A tsunami watch has been issued following the 7.5 magnitude quake near the Mentawi Islands at a depth of 33km (20.5 miles), officials said.

The epicentre was reported to be 244km (152 miles) south of the city of Padang.

The 7.5-magnitude temblor struck at a depth of 9 miles (15 kilometers) on a small island off Sumatra, the U.S. Geological Survey said. 

A massive earthquake and tsunami struck off the same island in 2004.

The tremor that struck at 9:42 p.m. (1642 GMT) was centered about 78 kilometers (48 miles) southwest of the Pagai Selatan in Mentawai Island, with a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles), according to the Indonesian agency.

Washington Post Reported That Fran Crippen, an open water swimmer from the U.S., died during today’s World Cup marathon race in the United Arab Emirates. He was 26.

Crippen died during the last leg of the 10-kilometer race in Fujairah, swimming world governing body FINA said in a statement on its website, without disclosing a cause of death. He won the bronze medal in the 10-kilometer event at last year’s World Championships and took the bronze in the 5-kilometer race at the 2010 Open Water Championships. 

A native of Conshohocken, Pa., Crippen was an 11-time all-American at Virginia and was named Atlantic Coast Conference swimmer of the year in 2003 and 2004. He finished third in the 10-kilometer swim at the 2009 World Championships in Rome. Crippen was named in September the Male Open Water Swimmer of the Year by USA Swimming. He won six U.S. national titles in his career.

Thousands of classified Iraq war documents made public by WikiLeaks are aimed at bringing out the truth, that had been the first casualty of war, the website's founder Julian Assange said today, adding that he wanted the leak to have the maximum possible impact.

"This first casualty of war is the truth," Julian Assange told a news conference here, hours after the whistleblower released a fresh cache of classified military documents.

In what is the largest classified military leak in US' history, the website has released nearly 400,000 secret American documents on the Iraq war detailing graphic accounts of torture and the killing of over 66,000 civilians.

The venue was once the height of decadence when it opened in the swinging Sixties attracting stars such as Sir Michael Caine, George Best and Jack Nicholson.

But after closing its doors almost 30 years ago, the club is to stage a comeback at a new location in London's Mayfair.
