A Boeing C-17 Globemaster III plane crashed yesterday at Anchorage’s Elmendorf Air Force Base, leaving 4 men dead, members of the Arctic Warrior group. The tragic C-17 crash in Elmendorf, took place early on yesterday’s evening during a training run for the upcoming weekend air show.
Three of the four men were part of the Alaska Air National Guard, and the fourth was on active duty at the Air Force base. The crash sent a massive fireball into the air said several witnesses. Names of the four men have yet to be released so that family can be contacted first.
